David Henley - Also known in the music industry as 'Jimmy Nugget,' started his career in the local band 'Blind Pilot' where he first discovered his talent for singing. He later joined with Chad (the Bassist) to form 'Diat.' Dave is a massive Faith No More fan and really uses Mike Patton's style and power when he sings. Dave also likes Clutch, ASG, Fu Manchu and Reef.
Ben Pollard - Ben 'Benny Lixx' came from the Glam Rock scene in the popular 'Switchblade Kiss' where he hit London hard with his powerful riffs and solos. Ben grabs his inspiration from bands such as Kiss, Motley Crue, Black Stone Cherry and Reef and is still bringing the catchy riffs and epic solos to 8 DAYS LATE.
Chad Chadwick - Known as 'Chad' is a local surfer who's got the widest music tastes. With all of his traveling he is picked up different styles of music and knows how they can all be put together. Chad's first band was 'Diat' with Dave Henley and soon went onto a 90's cover band 'Simon and the Heron,' where they played numerous house parties and birthdays. Chad's bass lines are inspired by Flea - Red Hot Chili Peppers, Led Zeppelin, AC/DC, Wolfmother, Back Door Slam, Black Stone Cherry, The Black Seeds and Reef.
Ed Bartley - Simply known as Ed provides the drums inspired from his previous line in the Metal scene. Ed has been a drum teacher for over 6 years and studied Music at the Bournemouth College. He has been in various heavy metal bands and has lots of broken sticks and skins to prove it. He is heavily influenced by Metallica, Skin, Areosmith, Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Black Stone Cherry and Reef
Together they form 8 DAYS LATE. Each musician brings their own style into the mix to create a catchy, energetic, fun sound. The best description of the band would be Southern surf rock.
