Cella Creeps

Cella Creeps are a 3 piece band consisting of Marc Haynes, Edwin Pope and Ollie Pollard. The band formed in late 2009 and wrote a set of songs and started playing gigs around the south. Joiners in southampton saw mosh pits, heavy riffs and Ed going nuts on stage. Talking Heads saw a professional sounding set playing alongside signed bands such as Union Sound Set. The band recorded a small EP back in May 2010. Champions saw a drum kit dive by Ed leaving a stage of drums covering the floor. The Winchester saw a quiet acoustic set to a small audience. Edwin and Marc also play in Mutant Vinyl who reached the finals of dorset music awards last year, supported Electric 6 at the O2 Academy Bournemouth and are playing/ have played venues such as the Cavern Club Liverpool, Wedgewood Rooms Portsmouth just to list a few. Cella Creeps have been invited to support King Ov Leon the tribute band at Mr Kyps in early May and have been played on local radio stations.
Cella are all about the live perfomance, they mix soft melodies with heavy riffs, Drum grooves with delay and dreamy vocals. They put everything into each and every performance. For three guys, Cella produce a massive sound and are enjoyable to watch. Taking influences from Massive Attack, Muse, The Verve, Limp Bizkit, Incubus and Smashing Pumpkins etc.. Cella Creeps are playing alternative rock with a real mixture of inspiration and sounds.
