STUDENT RELEASES RECORD FUNDED ENTIRELY BY EMA
Rozii Chaos, announced yesterday the release date of her first single. She wrote, recorded, and produced `ANOTHER DAY` at her home studio in Southampton. With limited finance, Rozii is releasing it under her own Rock/pop indie record label `Rozii Chaos Music` funded entirely by her EMA grant from studying at the Academy of Music and Sound. The song will be able to chart nationally from 9th May 2011. Rozii, who is studying a diploma in Music, made her surprise announcement on the JON ANDREWS Sunday Night show at RADIO WEY on 10th April 2011.
Having previously self released her EP in September 2010 she quickly discovered the limitations. “Your music really needs to be in all the online stores as well as in CD form” So using the EMA payments she received she set about registering for the various types of royalties and setting up her label. She said “everything required is on the internet and is reasonably priced......you just need to know where to look, anyone can do it”. From her home in West End village near Southampton Hampshire, Rozii is now planning a full album release for later this year.
The single `ANOTHER DAY` is now available to preview on iTunes and will be fully released for download and hard sale on May 9th 2011.
