Axxis

In 1988 after sending in only one demo song AXXIS were signed to EMI Electrola. The debut album "Kingdom of the Night", 1989 which was already released in Europe, Canada, Japan, Australia and the USA sold 100 000 copies immediately. It became the best selling debut album by a Hard Rock band in Germany in 1989. "Axxis II" marked a similar huge success in 1990, followed by the authentic and energetic live release "Access All Areas" a year later. The ambitious "The Big Thrill" became a best seller in 1993.

King's X

King's X is an American hard rock / heavy metal band noted for its spiritual lyrics and sophisticated musical styles which include, but are not limited to, blues, progressive rock, grunge and psychedelic. The group traces its beginnings to 1980, when Doug Pinnick and Jerry Gaskill, who had previously met while recording and touring with Phil Keaggy and touring with the band Petra, recruited Ty Tabor to join them.

Backwater

There are at least 3 bands with the name Backwater: (1) Backwater (Germany) Thrash Metal band formed in 1981 who released two full-length albums: "Revelation" (1984) and "Final Strike" (1986). Changed name to Tai Pan, releasing "Slow Death" (1995), and then changed their name again to X-Ray, under which they released "Dehumanized" (1996).

Black Rainbows

Black Rainbows Formed in 2005. They Started as a joke to have fun with some heavy psychedelic, stoner, desert tunes. But after recording their first full length “Twilight in the Desert” they were picked up from Longfellow Deeds Records (a French Rock Label site in Paris). In these years, they continue to smarten up their sound with a dozen live shows, sharing the stage with many cool bands; like Dead Meadow, Black Mountain, Los Natas, Witchcraft,White Hills, Michael Davis from MC5, Vic Du Monte’s Persona Non Grata and Alfredo Hernandez from Kyuss.

Yep, the band's name is Lesbian. Why? Well, equally cool names like Black Sabbath, Venom and Pentagram were already taken. But also, the name Lesbian evokes pure, sexually charged freedom - and that's what rock music is all about. But enough about the name, let's talk about the Lesbian sound; it's heavy, melodic, dramatic and dynamic. The Seattle-based quartet's multifaceted debut album Power Hör on Holy Mountain Records heralds the birth of The New Wave of American Psychedelic Metal. Shihad are a four-piece band from New Zealand, comprising Jon Toogood (guitar/vocals), Tom Larkin (drums), Karl Kippenberger (bass) and Phil Knight (guitar). Their style is best described as "hard rock", although they were described as "metal" in their formative years. Shihad were formed in 1988 in Wellington, New Zealand. They were briefly known between 2002-2004 as "Pacifier". During this time the band was attempting to break into the US market and it was decided that Shihad sounded too much like the arabic word 'jihad', thus the name change. ONE OK ROCK

ONE OK ROCK is a Japanese Rock band formed in the summer of 2005. It was started by Toru with High School friends Alex and Ryota after each of them got their musical instruments. After that, Taka joined as their vocalist and they focused on performing shows in the Tokyo area. In 2006 they independently released 2 mini albums. Because of their albums sales, their participation in relatively large festivals that summer and their energetic shows in the outskirts of Tokyo, they were noticed by a foreign record company.
