Sabina Babayeva

Sabina Babayeva (Azerbaijani: S?bin? Babayeva, born December 2, 1979, Baku, Azerbaijan) is an Azerbaijani singer. She represents Azerbaijan in the final of the Eurovision Song Contest 2012, in Baku, Azerbaijan, on 26 May 2012 with her entry, "When the Music Dies". A graduate of the Asaf Zeynally College of Music with a degree in vocal arts, she has participated in a number of song competitions both in her country and abroad.

Sophie

This title refers to at least three recording artists: 1) Elena Ferretti stands behind the alias Sophie, an Italo Disco - Eurobeat project set in the late 80s and early 90s.
Sophie released several albums such as My World, Tales To Tell, or My name is... Sophie.
2) Sophie (real name Arlette Hecket, born 9 October, 1944) was a girlfriend of one of the members of the group Les Champions, Sophie and sang with them in December 1962 in Olympia under the name Jenny Hahn. Olympia director Bruno Coquatrix was impressed, and presented her to Johnny Stark.

Valentina Monetta

Valentina Monetta (born 1 March 1975, City of San Marino) is a Sammarinese singer known for her participation in the Eurovision Song Contest Baku 2012 with "The Social Network Song (oh oh?uh?oh oh)". In 2008 Monetta sent in the song "Se non ci sei tu" for the San Marino national selection for the Eurovision Song Contest 2008, but she was not selected by San Marino RTV. On 14 March 2012, it was announced by San Marino RTV, that she would represent San Marino in the Eurovision Song Contest 2012, to be held in Baku, Azerbaijan with the entry "Facebook uh oh oh".

Liam Geddes

Liam Geddes is a young Irish pop artist from Ballina. He took part in the Irish national final of the 2008 Eurovision Song Contest. He competed with the song Sometimes, but didn't win the ticket to Belgrad, Serbia. He has also been performing for a number of years in musicals, charitable events and as a guest soloist. He was the highest placed and youngest Irish competitor on 'X Factor' in 2007.

Svetlana Loboda (Ukrainian: Светлана Лобода, born 18 October 1982 in Kiev, Ukrainian SSR) is a Ukrainian singer and composer. Loboda represented Ukraine in the Eurovision Song Contest 2009 and finished in 12th place with 76 points. On Last FM tagged also as Светлана Лобода. Loboda, as a young girl, studied piano, conducting, variety and jazz vocal, and grew to have the experience of composer, leading role actress in a musical, TV host, designer, photographer, singer in Ukraine’s, Russia’s and CIS most popular girls band and finally a solo artist.

Eva Boto

Eva Boto (born December 1, 1995 in Dravograd) is Slovenian singer who represents Slovenia at the Eurovision Song Contest 2012, Baku, Azerbaijan, with a song composed by Vladimir Graić and Igor Pirkovič, "Verjamem" (I Believe). In 2011, Eva competed in a 3 month show selection, Misija Evrovizija (Mission Eurovision) and selected as one of the two candidates to compete in EMA 2012. She won the EMA 2012 held by RTV SLO on 26 February 2012.

Lordi

Lordi is a hard rock / heavy metal band from Finland, formed in 1996 by 'Mr. Lordi' of Rovaniemi, Finland. They're known for their monster costumes and lyrical themes. In the beginning of the 1990s, Mr. Lordi played in a small band from Rovaniemi. He left the band when the other members didn't agree with the introduction of theatrical elements and KISS-style rock. Mr. Lordi started producing demos under the name Lordi in 1991 and continued to do so for a few years. The rest of the band members met each other for first time in 1996 in Stockholm, where they had gone to see KISS perform.

Compact Disco

Compact Disco is an elecronic band from Budapest, Hungary. The band was formed in 2008 and consists of Behnam Lotfi, Gábor Pál, Attila Sándor and Csaba Walkó. The band released their first album “Stereoid” in 2009, followed by “II”. The group have also released their most known song “I’m in Love” worldwide over the last two years, and won an MTV European Music Award for “Best Hungarian Artist” in 2011.

Filipa Sousa

Filipa Sousa (born March 2, 1985 in Albufeira) is a Portuguese singer who represents Portugal at the Eurovision Song Contest 2012, in Baku, Azerbaijan after winning the Festival da Canção with her entry, "Vida minha" (Life of Mine). Filipa debuted in 2003, as a member of the Portuguese group, Al-Mouraria. In the same year, she auditioned for the second edition of Operação Triunfo, reaching the 30 finalist but not qualifying for the last 15. It was in 2007, that she once again auditioned for Operação Triunfo reaching the final 15, and received recognition for the public.
