Shortwave Fade
The four-piece from Leicester consist of long time friends Chris Holloway (vocals / guitar) and Ben Allen (guitar / piano / synth), alongside more recent members Rich Herrington (drums) and Robb Sheppard (bass / vocals). Comparisons have been drawn to the likes of early Mansun, Doves, Mew and Soulwax, and the band have enjoyed supports with Keane and The Subways among others. During live performances Shortwave Fade are known for their use of sequencing, combining sampled loops, rhythms, drum patterns and synchronised visuals with live guitars, bass and drums.
Poppy And The Jezebels
I first heard of Poppy And The Jezebels back in September 2006 when they performed a live session for Mark Riley's BBC 6 Music radio show. The music is a glorious mix of 80's post punk, pop, Velvet Underground and even a splash of kraut rock for good measure. Their debut single can currently be heard on their MySpace page.... http://www.myspace.com/poppyandthejezebels
Leicester Symphony Orchestra
The Leicester Symphony Orchestra was founded in 1922 by Sir Malcolm Sargent, then a local parish organist and chorus master. The orchestra continues the Sargent tradition of recruiting talented local players and bringing to Leicester soloists of international calibre and fame, to give the people of Leicester symphonic music of the highest possible standard. Each year it performs three concerts at its regular venue, the De Montfort Hall in Leicester, and is available for others.

Razorwire
In March 2003, Razorwire released their debut album LEAGUE OF THE GODLESS which received excellent reviews all over the world. A seemingly never-ending tour followed which took them all over the UK from Aberdeen to Penzance, and everywhere in between. They also played a handful of dates in Germany, Belgium and Holland. The bands music is a diverse mix of traditional metal, rap, punk and hardcore with loads of energy.
Yeah Yeah Noh
Yeah Yeah Noh were a post-punk group formed in Leicester, England in 1984. They released two albums and five singles while still together, and have had two compilation albums issued since they split in 1986. The group reformed in 2011, an announcement appearing on the Cherry Red Records website: "STOP PRESS: Yeah Yeah Noh are back together and are playing live as of summer 2012, on the lookout for 'interesting gigs in fields; gardens with expansive lawns considered'."
Lardpony
Synthy indie-pop from derby, often seen around the midlands (and, increasingly, further afield) supporting bands like Bearsuit, The Research, Mates of State and so on.
Eric Idle
Eric Idle is the composer of most Monty Python songs (along with Neil Innes) such as the Python anthem "Always Look on the Bright Side of Life" (which is also played after Iron Maiden's shows).
