Fence Collective

The Pictish Trail

The work of Johnny Lynch, aka ‘The Pictish Trail’ is more stirringly subversive stuff from the Fence Collective. Lynch writes warm, welcoming tales with tiny keyboard patterns, acoustic neo-folk rumblings and all manner of undeniable oddball noises.' ‘Akin to Lou Barlow sobbing his tiny heart out while submerged in Loch Ness, this is the sound of Scotland quietly floating far, far out to some deep enchanting waters. And never dreaming of floating back.

Candythief

Candythief grew up bumping along pothole filled roads in south east Spanish sierra being forced to listen to her mum's Dolly Parton cassettes and her dad's medieval madrigals and Mozart in the back of the car. Cultural activity was somewhat limited to being bribed with donuts to going to Flamenco dance classes and listening to dogs barking in the heat of the evening. Still, she acquired a random and limited selection of cassettes which she would listen to again and again.

Found

FOUND
a pop band from Edinburgh, who specialise in going around your living room with a dictaphone, and hoovering up all the dirty noise. They literally 'find' sounds from everyday surroundings, and make incredibly addictive and arresting pop-grooves around them. They'll make you shuffle awkwardly, with a big smile on your face.

Kid Canaveral

Indie pop will never die. That potted plant, that scabby hamster and your Gran - these will die. But indie-pop won't. However, Kid Canaveral don't want you thinking about death.
