Manik started djing in 2005 using a little mixer , a discman and an old laptop; These days he was influenced by the upcoming commercial elektro-house scene and learned to mix with it. In 2006 he buyed his very first professionnal dj-set containing a mixer and 2 desktop cd players. But by the end of that year a whole new and different music style caught his head and became incredibly passionate by it: drum'n bass.

One of the most important characters of the techouse era, Phivos (Phil) Sebastiane aka Pure Science is not to be underestimated. He has an impressive background and his attachment to music began since he was a child, when he definitely fell in love with the synthesizers. Inspired by the legacy of the talented Depeche Mode, he was named The Scientist in the end of the eighties, nickname created by the Passion Crew due to his great potential and level of concentration.
