[1] An indie pop band from Perth, Australia.
[2] A dark-wave trio from Bielefeld, Germany. [1] Perth's Split Seconds formed in 2009 as an outlet for singer and guitarist Sean Pollard, following his previous band New Rules for Boats' hiatus. Blackpool

There is more than one band with the name Blackpool. 1) Blackpool is a post-punk band based in Brooklyn, NY. The band consists of members Melody Bleak (formerly of Bleak Track), Graham vanderVeen, Dave Ciauro and Erik Nyquist. In 2009, Blackpool teamed up with director Amanda Laws to create their debut music video for the song "Dissolve." The track will also appear on an upcoming SINister Records compilation CD, Memento Mori: A Collection, in January 2010.
