Sleepwalker

There are different artists using the name 'Sleepwalker': 1) Atmospheric Black Metal/Post-Rock. Very little is known about this band, but it is the solo project of the drummer of Fell Voices and has two CD-R demos, each with three untitled tracks. Sleepwalker is working on new material as of May 15th, 2011, and the first demo was remastered and re-released on LP by Vedavu in 2012 (this time with song titles: "Born of Dream", "Sleepwalker", and "Ecstatic Unknown").

Maple Bee is Melanie Garside, multi-instrumentalist and songwriter from the UK. Combining elements of synth-pop, alt. rock, folk and classical music, Maple Bee's debut was the 2004 double album 'Chasing Eva'. Maple Bee is one of a number of projects Melanie is involved with; others include Vertigo Angels, Huski, Mediæval Bæbes and Queen Adreena (fronted by Melanie's sister, KatieJane Garside, formerly of Daisy Chainsaw).

Xiu

Xiu is a recent project based in Milan and formed by Oksana (Xiu). Oksana was born in Estonia, studied academic music in Russia. Academic knowledges had a deep impact in the creative process of her musical entity. During several years she also sang in the church's choir which is undoubtedly had influenced her work. Next to the writting of her first musical effort she contributing appearances for the minimal-synth band Newclear Waves. She is familiar with underground musical scenes which emerged during the 80s, from sonic minimal synth experiments to cold wave and post-punk.

Da Lata was originally founded by musician and producer Chris Franck and DJ Patrick Forge in the summer of 1996. The idea for the project was to blend influences with modern sensibility incorporating both and elements in the music. Early experimentation came in the form of remixes rather than original material which proved to be a great way of honing the sound and at the same time gave exposure to the name.

Unwoman

Taken from unwoman.com: San Francisco's Unwoman, also known as Erica Mulkey, creates darkly beautiful music. Her repertoire is a powerful collage of vocals, cello, and electronics. Matthew Heilman of Starvox.net writes, "Her style ranges from a kind of experimental trip hop to swirling darkwave atmosphere with just enough static and noise to give it that extra technical punch."
