progressive deathcore

We The Betrayed is a Progressive Deathcore band from Buffalo, NY. Formed in May of 2010, they are taking their local scene by storm. Following the release of their debut EP "The Original Sin", they have moved onto playing shows with national bands and hope to go on tour by spring of 2011.

There are two bands using this name: (1) A satellite band of Secret Chiefs 3 that focuses on funeral music, and themes of the collapse of human consciousness. Trey Spruance has said all of his Mr. Bungle compositions are FORMS songs put through a 'bungle' filter. He portrays FORMS as his 'compositional center'. They first released songs under this name in the 1990s. (2) Another band formed in early 2010 from ex-members of And Hell Followed With, Deliverus, and R'lyeh, the dudes from Michigan have begun shredding out a unique blend of heavy grooves and aggressive music.

Born of Osiris is a Deathcore outfit from Chicago, Illinois.
The formation of the band was in 2003, as they released several demos and had begun to go through various name changes over the next few years (including... Diminished, Rosecrance & Your Heart Engraved). In 2007, under the name Born Of Osiris, they signed to Sumerian Records. and finished recording their first full-length album entitled "The New Reign", released on October 2, 2007.

"Chapters" is the bands debut full length album, tracked in Melbourne with The Red Shore mastermind Roman Koester in July 2011 at Complex Studios (Deez Nuts, 50 Lions) while enlisting the services of Swedish recording engineer Fredrik Nordström (Bring Me the Horizon, Dimmu Borgir) to take the helm for mixing and mastering duties. Taking care of the artwork for the release was hungarian based artist Grindesign (Suffokate, As I Lay Dying, Soilwork). Making a guest appearance on the record is Misery Signals frontman Karl Schubach.
