The Minx
There are several bands called the Minx. One of them is unsigned 5-piece band Indie band from Wythenshawe in Manchester, UK. The band were formed in 2008 and have recently launched their debut album "Cool As A Courteener". The Minx are a true manchester band and this shows taking influences from Happy Mondays, Inspiral Carpets and the Manchester musicx scene. Steve White
There are several musicians by this name, but most notably: * Guitarist for industrial rockers KMFDM and Pig, as well as live guitarist for 16Volt. * Drummer of the British white soul boys The Style Council (and occasional fill in drummer for Oasis when the regular drummer, his brother Alan, was unavailable) *An antifolk singer/songwriter from London, England.
Mary Ocher
There used to be a time when musicians were not afraid to dare. Ocher is a proud bright link in that chain. new instruments, styles, trials. Born Mariya Ocheretianskaya in Moscow, former Soviet Union in 1986, grew up in Tel Aviv, currently resides in Berlin.
Has recorded "War songs" in early 2009 at home and re-recorded the very same album for the Berlin based label Haute Areal in 2010. it was released on March 11th 2011.
Lach
In the early 80's, after reading a Dylan biography while blaring The Sex Pistols, Lach came to Greenwich Village. He went to Folk City figuring they'd flip over him. They flipped all right: kicking Lach right out onto the street! So did the other folk clubs. It seemed Lach's form of punk/folk was not at all welcome. Fuck 'em, he thought, and moved to the Lower East Side, opening his own illegal after-hours club, "The Fort".
Bridie Jackson and the Arbour
Bridie Jackson & The Arbour are from Newcastle Upon Tyne, UK . They launched their début album, Bitter Lullabies, with a sold-out show at The Sage Gateshead in January 2012.

She comes from a musical family, and while travelling Europe with her father, she was introduced to many musical styles including the Portuguese Fado tradition, the influence of which can be heard in her work.
Grantura

Grantura have been making steady progress on the UK music scene. Their debut single Waves became single of the week on BBC 6Music's breakfast show. They did a session for BBC Radio 2's Janice Long show in February. They are signed to Ruffa Lane record and a second single will be released in June, followed by the album, In Dreams and Other Stories, in July.
Adam Green
Adam Green (born 1981) is an american singer-songwriter originally with the group The Moldy Peaches. His former Moldy Peaches bandmate, Kimya Dawson, is now also a solo anti-folk artist. Green is now best known for the solo career he began in 2002. His most famous (and notorious) song is probably, "Jessica", off 2003's full-length album, "Friends of Mine".
