The Cinnamons

The Cinnamons equate to a fresh slant on the (phenomenal) pop-scene blossoming from Glasgow, Scotland.
Influences from The Pixies through 80's electronica - they manage to steer well clear of the well trod paths of Glasvegas/Franz Ferdinand/Simple Minds mindset - 'we want to rock stadiums' to produce a sound that is instant as it is unique as it is infectious. A truly talented band that I was fortunate enough to catch on their last tour - Lucasda Jan '09

REBEL CONTROL
Sharing a mutual passion for seductive melodies, gut-wrenching basslines and ‘back-a-yard riddims’, the illicit offspring of Andy Baron and Concrete Johnson was fashioned into prized gem, Rebel Control - The philosophy – to elevate reggae music kicking and screaming into the 21st Century. Andy kick-started his youthful musical career as an MC with various sound systems and in 2001 was enticed by the allure of Jamaica where he honed his prodigious talents recording debut solo album "Believe In Yourself."
