Thievery Corporation is a Washington, D.C.-based recording artist and DJ duo consisting of Rob Garza and Eric Hilton and their supporting artists. Their music style mixes elements of dub, acid jazz, indian classical and brazilian (such as bossa nova) with a lounge aesthetic. Thievery Corporation is on the Eighteenth Street Lounge record label named after the DC club owned by Eric Hilton, but several of their singles and EP's appear on the 4AD and !K7 labels.
Oliver Lieb (born 1969) is a very prolific artist & producer hailing from Frankfurt, Germany. He has released music under a wide number of aliases and in a variety of electronic genres. His musical career started as a bass player in funk and soul bands before he eventually turned to synthesized sound. His taste for esoteric equipment is well known, and his studio is filled with analogue synthesizers. Aliases like L.S.G., Spicelab and Paragliders are among the more well known, in addition to his work released as Oliver Lieb. The catalogue of released remixes by Oliver Lieb is enormous.
Stephen Dale Petit is a London-based Blues guitarist who has played alongside guitar legends such as Eric Clapton, David Gilmour, and even B.B.King! Moving to London from California when he was barely 20, he's lived through and survived the rock 'n' roll lifestyle of drugs and alcohol, composing and financing his much acclaimed debut album Guitararama whilst busking on the London Underground.
