Hillstomp

Hillstomp is a punk-blues duo from Portland, Oregon, known for refreshing takes on traditional material, distinctive original songs, and energetic live performances. In December 2005 their "The Woman that Ended the World" CD was named Album of the Year by alternative weekly, Willamette Week.

Chris Duckenfield

After being introduced to Dance music via early Hip Hop and electro, his tastes were later influenced by the Sheffield illegal party scene in the late eighties, where the Forgemasters DJ's would be instrumental in his musical education. Chris has been playing music as a D.J since 1989, keen to play the music he heard outside his home town, alongside the by now famous 'Sheffield sound'. His first residency was at the Limit club in Sheffield, the night went from 150 to 1200 people in three weeks, and became something of a legendary event.

Pantheon I

Formed in late 2002 and hailing from the city of Oslo in Norway, Pantheon I is an extreme metal band that combines brutality, aggression and speed with heart-wrenching melancholy. Rather than resorting to the use of synths with string samples, the symphonic aspects of their music are highlighted by the use of the cello. The current line-up is composed of KVEBEK on guitar and vocals (DEN SAAKALDTE, ex-1349), SAGSTAD on guitar (TROLLFEST, SARKOM), T.R.S. on bass (1349, DEN SAAKALDTE), MADS G on drums (THE ALL SEEING I, ZEENON), and LIVE JULIANNE on cello.

Gyroscope

There are two bands with the name Gyroscope. The first is a / band from Perth, Western Australia formed in 1997 by Daniel Sanders (vocals, guitar), Zoran Trivic (guitar), Brad Campbell (bass), and Rob Nassif (drums). They recorded their first demo cassette, First, as Gyroscope Sunday in 1998, and took up playing regularly on the Perth live circuit whilst also finding time for work and school commitments. The second is a psychedelic jazz outfit from Quebec, Canada.

Six Shooter

Exeter based rockers Six Shooter are Ben Embery, Richard Perkins, Dan Davies and Robin Haywood they produce Hard Rock Blues sounds with a fried psychedelic and stoner twist. Six Shooter were formed by Ben Embery after moving to Exeter to go to University. Richard Perkins and Rob Haywood, friends in halls, joined and they began to write original music. Drummer Dan Davies joined the ranks in May 2006 and since then they have been gigging as much as they can. Six Shooter's first E.P is written, recording has commenced.

Suburbs

The Suburbs, from Minneapolis, formed and began playing orginal material in the fall of 1977. Their sound is influenced musically by everyone from the Rolling Stones to Karlheinz Stockhausen - which is to say they're well educated but not needlessly eclectric or unfocused. Their lyrics are full of humor and empathy and their style is immediately rhythmic and balanced, yet subtle and challenging.

Jason Clarke

Jason Clarke is a self-taught singer-songwriter from Belfast, Northern Ireland. Having always had a love of singing and performing solos from an early age in school plays, it wasn't until his teens that he began to teach himself the art of guitar. Jason had dabbled with song-writing during this time but it wasn't until a chance meeting with Belfast singer Brian Kennedy that he got the boost he needed to take it all to the next level.
