The Getaway Plan is an alternative rock band based in Australia. The band formed in Melbourne, Australia, in 2004, comprising of vocalist/guitarist Matthew Wright, guitarist Clint Splattering, bassist Dave Anderson and drummer Aaron Barnett. Their debut release was a demo in 2004. In 2006 The Getaway Plan signed to Boomtown Records and made their debut release through a label, an EP titled Hold Conversation.
The Honeyz were a London-based R&B girl group formed in 1997 that originally consisted of bandmembers Heavenli Abdi, Naima Belkhiati and Célena Cherry. In 1999 Heavenli Abdi left the group and was replaced by Mariama Goodman before returning to the band in 2000 after Mariama left. Before their split in 2002 the Honeyz released seven singles, 5 of which were Top 10. In 2005 they band reformed but member Naima Belkhiati left shortly after and was replaced by Célena's cousin Candace Cherry. Mariama Goodman briefly returned to the band after Heavenli Abdi (now Roberts) left due to pregnancy.

On August 18, 2009, lead singer Shaant Hacikyan announced via his Twitter account he was going solo. Dave Melillo confirmed that he and guitarist Jeff Czum had left the band. Jeff, Dave, and Mike Lasaponara went on to create a new band, Nocturnal Me. In early 2010, it was announced that the band will continue with frontman Shaant Hacikyan as the only original member to continue, joining with former members of Mandy K.
Allison Weiss is an American guitar player and singer-songwriter from Brooklyn, NY. Weiss first picked up a guitar at age 14 in an attempt to become a punk rock star and impress her high school crush, and though the teenage romance died after one short month, her passion for music lived on. Feeding Fingers is a trio fronted by artist, musician, author and animator, Justin Curfman. The band was founded in 2006 in Atlanta, Georgia, but has since relocated to Germany. Formation (2006) Justin Curfman, an award-winning animator/filmmaker from Atlanta, Georgia. He had written and produced pieces of music that never found a place in any of his films. With support from guitar/bass player, Todd Caras and percussionist, Danny Hunt, Justin Curfman formed a band to rearrange the pieces as songs and play them live.
Shakespear's Sister were pop/rock duo consisting of former Bananarama member Siobhan Fahey and (from 1989 - 1996) singer/songwriter/guitarist Marcella Detroit (real name Marcy Levy). Detroit had previously performed with Eric Clapton, released a solo album in 1982, and has since released more solo material as well as a blues album with the Marcy Levy Band. Fahey was born in Dublin, Ireland, and Detroit was born in Detroit, Michigan, USA, hence her stage name.
