Antagonist

1. New Zealand metalcore band. The band changed their name in 2008 to Antagonist A.D. to avoid to confusion with other bands holding the same name.
2. Antagonist are a metalcore band from Whittier, California in the United States. In the rapidly changing and evolving world of heavy music, bands come and go faster than you can get a value meal at a fast food restaurant. Finding bands who are still slugging it out after a decade is a rare occurrence. What’s even more uncommon is finding a band who have recorded their most intense and career defining album 12 years into their career.

Lipid

Formed in the middle of the nineties the band settled on the current line up soon after their first demo, simply titled "Lipid". With the new line up the band recorded their second opus with renowned Danish Producer Jacob Hansen. The EP "God We Have Slain" won the band many friends in their home country and the international underground scene came soon after. The band were then offered a deal by US Metal Label Pavement (CROWBAR, MALEVOLENT CREATION, VADER etc) For a number of reasons things were not working out with the US company and the band began wrangling their way out of their contract...

Warpath

The band's first EP, entitled "Cataclysm", was recorded in December 2005 at Bridgerow Studios with producer Andy Coughlan. In the aftermath of its release, the band amassed favourable reaction from the European metal community. Large-scale self-promotion and feature privileges in renowned metal magazines such as Terrorizer, Zero Tolerance and Powerplay have since brought the band much exposure. Warpath's perfect balance of sharp-edged guitars and extreme drumming has also been found on Zero Tolerance Magazine's covermount compilation CD...

Crest Of Darkness

Crest of Darkness is a norwegian black metal band formed by Ingvar Amlien in 1995. Amlien was at the time also playing in the norwegian heavy metal band Conception, and Crest Of Darkness remained a side project until Conceptions spilt-up (or "long break", as they claimed it to be) in 1997. The bands lyrically foundation is Amliens passion for sheer sonic brutality and devotion to the satanic ideology according to Anton LaVeys' Church Of Satan and the Satanic Bible. Some lyrics also show his belief in and admiration for vampirism.

The Law

There are three bands with the name The Law. 1: Hailing from Dundee, and riding on a new wave of enthusiasm for new music in the town, The Law first came to light playing at the Doghouse. As a powerful 4 piece, they initially got together writing & playing songs as a means of venting frustration at birds and bosses, and have grown hugely in the past year. Several sessions at the T-Pot Studios with established producer Robin Evans and a recent UK tour with mates The View has earned the band nationwide interest.
