There are three bands named Dissident.
1) Dissident from Russia.
2) Dissident from Australia.
3) Dissident from Bulgaria. 1) Dissident is the production name of Russian based Stanislav Sevostyanikhin. Residing in St.Petersburg at the Baltic sea shore, he spends most of his time slicing beats, sampling street sounds and creating trends in modern music culture. He is influenced by very different kinds of music that allowed him to produce such diverse and truly innovative tunes.

Stefan Krause aka Rawtekk grew up in Hamburg/Germany. In 1988 he started making music and felt in love with producing electronical music. Having his roots in the early nineties´ Techno-Movement, he made his way through many electronic genres. In 2001 Rawtekk was founded to release drum and bass and breaks. His unique sound is different; clean, complex and straight forward. After comming up with the first tracks his fame quickly grew and he started playing live in different local clubs to show off his powerfull skills.

A widespread name around the globe already; their production has seem them with released and forthcoming tracks on many of the scenes leading European record labels including UK's Renegade Hardware, Critical Records, Cylon Records, Deep Soul Music, Horizons Music & Revolution Recordings and releasing on the Netherlands amazing Citrus Records, Smptm Records & Syndrome Records; Germany's Basswerk imprint, as well as New Zealand's own Samurai Music, Empathy Records and brand new Aesthetics imprint based in America.

Matt aka Maztek began very soon his musical career playing as lead guitarist and percussionist, at the age of 18 years he is deeply passionate by electronic music in particular by techno and drum and bass so he begins to produce electronic music and playing in the Italian undergound scene. In 2005 Maztek develops and gives birth to "Subculture"project , first it was a free art movement based on art exhibitions and installations accompanied by music and live sets, then the project evolved into a union of several italian drum & bass crews.
