Man Must Die

Man Must Die formed in October 2002 in the underbelly of Glasgow, Scotland. It became evident that after the first rehearsal that something special was brewing, the songs practically wrote themselves and the intensity was devastating, four songs were quickly written and recorded in May of 2003. The band immediately set out to make a name for themselves by playing shows throughout the United Kingdom. One song was placed on the then MP3.

The Florentine Camerata are a collective of like-minded individuals who came together in mid 2011, striving to compose fresh, new material taking influence from bands such as The Faceless, Necrophagist, Psycroptic, Fleshwrought & Gorod.

Tortured

there are many bands under the name "Tortured" 1)Tortured are a 5 piece canberra based death metal band that has grown in canberra from late 2006. With the first live performance not untill 2008, gave them 2yrs to write the songs that would make a dramatic impact on the australian metal scene. Since then Tortured have decimated the stage along side some of Australia's finest metal acts. Tortured released copies of their demo early 2009 and only made 500 copies which were sold out very quickly. Tortured are currently in the studio recording the debut full length album.

Immolation

Immolation is a death metal band from Yonkers, New York. They were formed in 1986 as Rigor Mortis. The name was changed to Immolation in late 1987, between the "Warriors of Doom" demo which was done as Rigor Mortis and "Demo I" which was done as Immolation. The band got a deal with Roadrunner Records and released their debut album Dawn of Possession through them. They were dropped by the label when the label dropped nearly all of the death metal bands. Later, they were picked up by Metal Blade Records and released the three succeeding albums through them.

The Faceless

The Faceless is a technical death metal band from Los Angeles who have astonished their live audiences with dizzying guitar work, lightning fast drumming and unmatched brutality. Formed by guitarist Michael Keene and bassist Brandon Giffin, the band quickly found the perfect mix of dedicated musicians to complete the line up. Drummer Brett Batdorf, having played a brief stint with Himsa and long time drummer of Los Angeles death metal band Tchildres, complimented the group perfectly and was added to the line up soon after.

There are multiple artists with this name: 1) Element is a technical death metal band from USA. They formed in 2004 and have released their debut full-length album "Aeons Past" in January 2007 on Brutal Bands. 2) Element were a post hardcore/emo band from Northern Ireland. The track 'Wake From This' was featured on the third Deep Elm 'This Is Indie Rock' compilation. 3) Element is 60's psychedelic rock band.

Dred

There are two bands using name "Dred", described bellow: 1)
The band had its early beginnings in Sydney, Australia 2001, when two school friends Denis Vlachiotis (Lead/Rhythm Guitar) and Michael Conti (Bass/Vocals) collaborated to write and assemble material for what would soon become Dred. With Michael Conti initially performing both bass and vocal duties, the band's music began to take shape. Combining attributes of thrash and death metal, they were to spend the next two years developing the band's direction, rehearsing, writing and refining their original material.

House of Thumbs

Since forming in 2007 from the ashes of other metal bands Isolar and Leechseed, House of Thumbs has become a fixture of the Melbourne metal scene. The band combines death and thrash metal techniques and vocals with the polyrhythmic patterns and discordant melodies associated with technical death metal, math metal and experimental metal. 2008 saw House of Thumbs release its debut EP, "Strangle Fiction" to some acclaim and on the back of this they toured throughout regional Victoria.

There is more than one artist with this name: 1) A Canadian technical death metal band. Martyr's intricate and aggressive Technical Metal style is built on complex structures which allies a multitude of emotions from many different musical approaches.
