There are several artists sharing the name Sands: - A Belgian 90's band from Torhout. - A group called SandS of Russian composers from Demoscene.ru who compose music for computer games. - An electronic ambient musician and saxophonist from The Midlands, England, active around the furry music scene A Belgian 90's band from Torhout, with Guy van Nueten (piano, keyboards) and Michel Vanderhaeghen (guitar, vocals). Their nameless debut cd was produced by Bill Janovitz (Buffalo Tom).
Later the band extended with 2 members: Roel de Loore on bass and Thor de Boos on drums.

The collaboration is relatively new and they have been putting on some temperature-checking early sets around the world and getting their dubplates spun out by some of the scene's names like Chef and Rusko. They have had releases on Boka Records, Destpub, Urban Essentials, Sequence, their own label Dub & Run and on the legendary Southside Dubstars. 2)

There seem to be four artists with this name: 1. Rhino is a Spanish sludge doom band formed in Bilbao, 2004. Now called Horn of the Rhino. With big experience on their backs and with influences of the most bestial rock, the sickest doom and the heaviest metal, born in Bilbao, Rhino, a band that delivers brutal and monolithic songs with blasting guitars, thundering apocalyptic drums and aggressive vocals.
