British Hardrockers DEEDS were known throughout much of their career as DIRTY DEEDS, releasing a string of albums with heavy recommendation from none other tha Steve Harris of IRON MAIDEN. As DIRTY DEEDS the band released 1996’s debut ‘Danger Of Infection’ and the ‘Real World’ album in 1999. The central figure of the act, frontman Pete Franklin, had been operational with trad Rockers CHARIOT for many years previous. Guitarist Richie Faulkner, joining the fold in 2001, was previously a member of SOLEMN TEMPLE.

Iced Earth is an American heavy metal band that combines power metal and speed metal/thrash metal genres in its music. Amorphis

Amorphis is a Finnish metal band started by Jan Rechberger, Tomi Koivusaari and Esa Holopainen in 1990. Amorphis absorbed and incorporated influences from many metal genres, and with time passing their sound evolved dramatically. Initially, the band was a Death Metal act, but with time they have evolved into making music that is more classifiable as doom metal with folk influences, and, more recently, progressive metal and hard rock, utilizing increasingly complex arrangements and a less brutal sound.

The Stabs

Formerly called Jodi Moore as a tribute to an acquaintance who didn't want the honour of seeing her name in the street press, The Stabs acquired their new name not long after starting to play irregular gigs at small Melbourne venues around 2003. They have the honour of clearing the 'Airport Lounge' at Monash Uni faster than any other lunchtime act, with only three diehards ending up braving the wall of noise for the whole set.

Secret Sphere

Secret Sphere are a power metal band from Alessandria, Italy. They are often compared to countrymen Rhapsody in their use of symphonic keyboards, ballads, and general feeling. However, the band's first CD, Mistress Of The Shadowlight, has a much rawer sound compared to Rhapsody. The band was formed in 1997 from the talented guitar player Aldo Lonobile and has released four full-lengths.
They released a fifth full-length cd in 2008 called Sweet Blood Theory.
