Electric Eel Shock (a.k.a. EES) are a Japanese celebration of classic rock, punk and metal. A true power trio (Aki Morimoto - Guitar & Vocals; Kazuto Maekawa - Bass; Tomoharu 'Gian' Ito - Drums) from the time before rock became fractured into a diverse multitude of sub-genres and we were all still one big happy Rock & Roll family. EES formed in Tokyo in the late 1990s, they first toured the United States in 1999 and came to Europe in early 2003 - they have been touring the world ever since.
Formed in 1992, a bunch of no hopers from rural England decided on trying to become the most intense band in the country. Forged on a diet of Slayer and the heavier end of the spectrum (bear in mind they were in Guns and Roses era then!) the band went through numerous changes before settling down to Paul on Vocals, Neil on Guitar, Bones on Bass and Jammer on drums. Relentless touring followed, playing every town, usually to nobody.
Coffins are a Japanese death-doom metal band, formed in 1996 by guitarist and vocalist Uchino. Having gone through several lineup changes in the past, they now consist of Uchino, Ryo (drums) and Koreeda (bass). Their sound is influenced by old school '80s and '90s doom metal, death metal and thrash metal. After several demos they released their 1st full-length album "Mortuary In Darkness" in 2005.
Hedley is a Canadian pop rock band comprising lead singer Jacob Hoggard, Tommy Mac on bass, Dave Rosin on lead guitar and Chris Crippin on drums. The current band retains the original name of Hoggard's pre-Canadian Idol group, although the membership has changed. The band originated in Abbotsford, British Columbia. They were named after the town of Hedley, British Columbia, a name chosen after members heard that it was for sale for $246,000.
Created in March 09 in the sleepy little South Coast Town of Littlehampton, Doctrine of Complicity brought together a group of friends aged 21 to 45, with a wealth of influences and ideas, to create something a little different to the normal music associated with the area in which we all exist..... The song writing began in earnest (I thought that was a town in Devon) and soon overtook all the previous ideas that had been in mind for the band...
