Unfathomable Ruination play an intense and brutal style of death metal. The band, based in and around London, UK - comprising members and ex-members of a number of established UK extreme metal bands; including Bloodshot Dawn, Embryonic Depravity, Fleshrot, and Trifixion - formed in early 2010. Drawing on influences such as: Internal Suffering, Disgorge (US), Abysmal Torment, Origin, Dying Fetus and Suffocation they started writing material and after a few practice sessions they recorded a self titled demo/ EP.

Burned In Blizzard is a Latvian heavy metal band formed in Rīga, Latvia in January 2011, by its former name Blizzard. Founded by Kārlis Kalvišs (guitar, vocals), Matīss Klaviniuss (guitar, back vocals) on guitars and Roberts Cešeiko on drums, in April joined by Rolands Ignatjevs (bass guitar, back vocals) on bass. The band is known for its melodic, thrashy and heavy sound supported by dual solos and three mixed vocals. They released the debut album Whiteout in December 2011.

Between the Buried and Me is a progressive metal quintet from Raleigh, North Carolina that infuses a wide array of genres into their music, including both soft rock and jazz. This is evident in their choice of name, which is derived from a section of lyrics from the Counting Crows’ song Ghost Train, which proceeds as follows: "Took the cannonball down to the ocean, Across the desert from the sea to shining sea, I rode a ladder that climbed across the nation, Fifty million feet of earth between the buried and me."
