Opium Lord is a British band formed in 2012 in Birmingham, United Kingdom. The band makes desolate and with a coal black heart. Filthy grooves meet abrasive to convey a menacing atmosphere akin to the dodgiest drinking establishments. Alcest

Formed in 1999 by French black metal multi-instrumentalist Neige (who also worked with Peste Noire, Mortifera, and Amesoeurs), Alcest was originally conceived as a solo project. It would eventually take on the form of a full band as Hegnor (also of Peste Noire) and Arguth joined the fray and released a four-track demo entitled Tristesse Hivernale in 1999. This demo was a more straightforward black metal affair, much different from what would happen next.

Lordi

Lordi is a hard rock / heavy metal band from Finland, formed in 1996 by 'Mr. Lordi' of Rovaniemi, Finland. They're known for their monster costumes and lyrical themes. In the beginning of the 1990s, Mr. Lordi played in a small band from Rovaniemi. He left the band when the other members didn't agree with the introduction of theatrical elements and KISS-style rock. Mr. Lordi started producing demos under the name Lordi in 1991 and continued to do so for a few years. The rest of the band members met each other for first time in 1996 in Stockholm, where they had gone to see KISS perform.

Torture Garden

There are two bands named Torture Garden. (1) Originating in Merseyside, United Kingdom, Torture Garden were formed in 2006 by lyricist and vocalist Adam Ford (born 21st July 1981) and his multi-instrumentalist brother Matt Ford (born 4th November 1985), taking their name from a novel by Octave Mirbeau. Torture Garden claim to be influenced by all variations of heavy metal, as well as dark, experimental artists from various other genres.

Original Sin

There are at least 6 groups with the name Original Sin: 1) (Drum n Bass) Original Sin is the new production alias of Adam Tindall (one half of the now defunct Generation Dub/G Dub/Double Zero). Original Sin's Don't Be Silly, D for Danger and Ra! (Original Sin Remix) have helped him establish his individual production style. Two songs have been released under Adam's second alias (Killa Hurt) on Frontline Records.

Fuck...I'm Dead

Fuck... I’m Dead is an Australian / band formed in May of 2000, with Tom Raetz on bass, Dave Hill on Guitar and drum programming, and Jay Jones on vocals. In July 2000 Fuck... I’m Dead recorded and released a self titled demo tape, and managed to capture the interest of Germany’s Sanity's Dawn which led to the release of the Fuck... I’m Dead/Sanitys Dawn split 7" in early 2001 on No Escape Records.

Lord Vampyr

Lord Vampyr is an Italian, vampiric themed, black metal artist who for much of his career was the originator and lead singer for the band Theatres des Vampires. He left that group in 2004, and in 2005 produced his first solo album under his own name Lord Vampyr entitled De Vampyrica Philosophia. Since this release of this first solo album Lord Vampyr has been involved in other projects, including fronting the band Shadowsreign.
