Iceni

Iceni is a UK black metal band founded by Hroðgar in 2006. They take their inspiration from very early British history. The music is enriched with epic folk and pagan touches in addition to an early Black Metal sound. History:
Before the summer of 2006 the band was called Axiom (UK) which was Hroðgar's one man effort before the name of the project changed and the lineup was fleshed out to allow the music to be taken to a live setting.

Black Rain

For French glam/hard-rock band, see Blackrain. There are at least eight bands with the name Black Rain:

1) Black Rain, the NYC post punk / industrial group began in '89 with Stuart Argabright, Bones, Shin Shimokawa , Thom Furtado and Dave Vulcan, emerging out of the ruins of seminal post-punk outfit Ike Yard. After playing CBGB's, The Bank, Tompkins Square Park show commemorating the Riots there and the last GG Allin show at the Gas Station on LES ( Lungcast cassette ), this phase of the group went on to work in the Studio with Roy Mayorga (Thorn / StoneSour ) on drums and guitar riffage.

Cavus

Cavus was started around 07/08 by the founding fathers J.K & T.T.T. They gave birth to this demon of hatred and devilry to serve them, loyally and unquestioning, through times of violent intoxication and the depths of depravity. Soon after that, W was summoned to spit his spells on the beast, and A.R.G to teach it his earth-trembling juggernautics. The first offspring of this alliance is a self titled EP, consisting of four hymns in the honour of plague and pestilence, lasting just under 17 minutes.

Cirith Gorgor

This Dutch black metal band was formed in late 1993. Cirith Gorgor is the "pass of death" in Tolkien's "Lord of the Rings" series. Current Line-up:

Levithmong - drums The band's name is taken from The Lord of the Rings. "Cirith Gorgor," called the Haunted Pass, the point were the mountain ranges of the Ered Lithui and the Ephel Dúath met, to the northwest of Mordor.

Dod is a Greek self-taught guitarist whose musical style combines different music elements but is mostly influenced by hard rock and heavy metal music. A promising, talented, new guitarist with an innovative, inspiring, clear, imposing but at the same time refined and delicate sound at the launch of his career.

Nefarium

Nefarium were formed in 1997. Two years later Nefarium decided to record the songs for the first demo-tape of the band at Hail studio in Turin (Italy) well-known in the underground scene thanks to Adversam, Necromass and Detestor recording sessions. The demo was out in the summer 1999 and was sold in more than 1000 copies. In january 2001 will be out a 7 -Avernus- for Maggot Recordsrecorded in collaboration whith Adversam drummer (Scarlet Records).
