Career
The founding members of the group were Conleth (Con) Cluskey (born 18 November 1941), Declan (Dec) Cluskey (born 23 December 1942), and John Stokes (Sean James Stokes) (born 13 August 1940). In 1957 they formed their first band together, "The Harmonichords" (also seen as "The Harmony Chords"), a classically styled instrumental harmonica-act. As The Harmonichords, they appeared on Hughie Green's 'Opportunity Knocks' on Radio Luxembourg[1] and on the 'Ed Sullivan' TV Show St. Patrick's Day Special (filmed in Dublin, broadcast 15 March 1959), where they played "Danny Boy.
The Cool Kids are a hip hop duo based in Chicago, Illinois consisting of Antoine "Sir Michael Rocks" Reed and Evan "Chuck Inglish" Ingersoll (originally from Mount Clemens, MI). They are signed to the independent Chocolate Industries via their own label C.A.K.E. Recordings. After meeting in 2005, and releasing three mixtapes onto the internet through their MySpace page, they released their debut EP The Bake Sale in 2008.
ONE OK ROCK is a Japanese Rock band formed in the summer of 2005. It was started by Toru with High School friends Alex and Ryota after each of them got their musical instruments. After that, Taka joined as their vocalist and they focused on performing shows in the Tokyo area. In 2006 they independently released 2 mini albums. Because of their albums sales, their participation in relatively large festivals that summer and their energetic shows in the outskirts of Tokyo, they were noticed by a foreign record company.
POLYSICS is a Japanese new wave/synth pop/punk/rock band, hailing from Tokyo. The band started in 1997, but got their big break in 1998 at a concert in Tokyo. They create high energy music, fusing conventional guitar music, with synthesized and computer generated sound to create a unique mixture of punk and electro-pop. Their song lyrics often consist of Japanese, English, or just plain gibberish. The band has been noted for their extremely energetic live performances and their wild gimmicky outfits.

Liberty X were formed in 2001, after they were not chosen for the official 'Popstars' group, who later became Hear'Say. Michelle, Kevin, Tony, Kelly and Jessica were part of a brand new group called Liberty. Their first single 'Thinking It Over' cracked the UK Top 5, surprising fans and sceptics alike, who thought that Liberty was even going to struggle to obtain a Top 40 placing in the UK singles chart. Super Junior (Korean: 슈퍼주니어), also known as simply SJ or SuJu (Korean: 슈주), is a (currently) eight-member South Korean boy band formed by SM Entertainment in 2005, masterminded by Lee Soo Man. M.O (Modus Operandi) are a girl trio from London. The members are Nadine, Annie and Frankee (one half of duo Mini Viva. Their first single was Wait Your Turn in November 2012, followed by Ain't Got Time released in March 2013.
Miss Frank are a girl group formed by Simon Cowell during the bootcamp stage of The X Factor, a UK talent show on ITV. They're being mentored by Louis Walsh and have been hailed as the best group on the competition. They are formed of Graziella Affinita, Shar Alexandar and Shaniece Davis. They were originally 3 seperate solo acts but were rejected at the 2nd stage of the show and got a second chance when Simon Cowell told them they could carry on if they combined as a trio. Currently they are battling amongst the final 12 acts to win The X Factor.
