Hive a.k.a. Michael Petrie (born December, 1974) is a Los Angeles-based DJ, producer and record label owner who has contributed to dozens of recordings in the drum and bass musical genre. His Violence Recordings label is regarded as the premiere drum-and-bass label in the United States. His mixes have been used throughout popular media, although he is not particularly well known. Hive is on the Matrix soundtrack, and his songs are also used in several television shows. He has produced four albums, his latest being "Bedlam" which he released in 2002.

Dean Rodell

True veteran Dean Rodell has been involved in underground music since the early 90s and has been the man behind dozens of innovative, genre-fusing records and remixes on many of the worlds leading Techno labels. More recently Dean´s innovative approach to music has led him to branch out into the worlds of Drum&Bass and Dubstep and in 2004 he created Subdivision to house a family of labels and artists involved in all the scenes he loves in the pursuit of musical innovation.

MC Jakes

Vocalist, producer, and label-owner, Jakes is one of the most dynamic and energetic characters in the business. With an impressive catalogue of work behind him and the emergence of his own dubstep imprint, H.E.N.C.H, Jakes has worked hard to earn his fiersome reputation. His collaborations with D*Minds and TC have led to a number of chart-topping D&B anthems, such as the infamous ‘T-10’ and ‘Deep’, a barrage of club-destroying artillery that has seen Jakes’ already illustrious career catapulted to the next level.

The Panacea

Mathis Mootz, the teutonic mastermind and producer behind The Panacea from Wuerzburg, Germany, has developed and perfected his sinister drum and Bass mashup style over the years. The Panacea is the digital Napalm Death, fueled by wreck-step beats, he samples and generally throws together elements of hardcore techno, drum'n'bass, jungle and industrial into his unique explosive sound. As one of the dominant faces of the German Position Chrome Label he has released 23 ep's and 5 albums since 1996.

Diode

There are two groups using the name Diode on last.fm, a drum and bass outfit and this one:
Diode formed in 2001 in Perth. The group has previously released several independent recordings including "Messages" (2001). Their album “Diode” (2007) builds on these outings adding a tighter, more developed sound. Diode has played at the Tote bar in Melbourne as part of “Octopus 7, Don’t Show Me Your Poetry” and was feature in “Old Skool” at the Perth Institute of Contemporary Art.
