Magi

Magi were a tough high energy rock outfit from Northern Indiana in the mid-'70s. They attracted huge crowds whenever they played live. Often compared with Led Zeppelin, this 5-piece band possessed a tight and raw sound that combined in-your-face hard rock with undisguised psychedelic tendencies and lashings of fuzz. The band was well-appreciated for its excellent guitar work, and in the right place and time these guys could have been major. One song is about running out of weed. Recorded at Uncle Dirty's in Michigan.

Raiden

1) Raiden is the stage name of Chris Jarman a British techno/drum & bass DJ and producer who runs Offkey Recordings. Heavily influenced by the searing, grinding sound of techno but very much into the rolling break beat sound. Raiden decided to meld the two together creating a fierce, yet deep sound solidly infected with dark elements of funk, truly creating a trademark style within the genre. His arrival on the scene in 2002 was a result of meeting with Dj Friction and Nu Balance at Airtight Studios where he produced tunes for their label Transparent.

Forbidden Society

I've been producing electronic music since 1998, when I started a project called Desert Storm Breakcore Squad with my friend JayB. We produced a quite unusual mixture of hardcore techno and jungle, because I had a hardcore/speedcore background and Jay was more into jungle.

Later on I bought my own PC and started making music by myself under the Noize Punishment moniker. I always liked grindcore, punk or metal and I guess this influence is traceable in my tracks. Among the biggest influences to me I would count Alec Empire and Atari Teenage Riot, Mathis Mootz (Panacea), Bombardier.
