Patrice

Patrice Bart-Williams (born July 9, 1979 in Kerpen to a German mother and the Sierra Leonean writer-activist Gaston Bart-Williams), better known as Patrice, is an Afro-German reggae artist. He also often uses his second name: Babatunde (Yoruba: return of the father), which his parents gave him since Patrice was born on the same day that his grandfather died. His music is influenced by Jimi Hendrix and Bob Marley.

George Clinton

George Clinton (born July 22, 1941) is an American musician, widely considered one of the forefathers of funk. He was the mastermind of the bands Parliament and Funkadelic during the 1970s and early 1980s, and was a solo funk artist as of 1981. He was born in Kannapolis, North Carolina, grew up in Plainfield, New Jersey, and currently resides in Tallahassee, Florida. In Plainfield, he ran a barber salon, where he straightened hair, and soon formed a doo wop group, inspired by Frankie Lymon & The Teenagers, called The Parliaments.

Easy Star All-Stars

The Easy Star All-Stars are a collective family of some of the finest reggae musicians in the New York area. The band features a rotating cast drawn from a talented pool of players, meaning that every show has its own nuances and its own life. The masterminds behind the All-Stars are Easy Star musical director Michael Goldwasser (a.k.a. Michael G), frequent production partner Victor Axelrod (a.k.a. Ticklah), and Easy Star execs Eric Smith and Lem Oppenheimer.

San Toy

San Toy are an alternative/rock/reggae five piece from Govan, Glasgow. We don't claim to sound different from everyone else, we only try to be as original and keep our music as true to our own expressions as we can. Started out as a group of friends getting together for a jam. By 2005 we had a line up ready to write and record our own material . Initially we wrote more than 20 songs which we whittled down to 11 for our live set and album.

The Wailing Souls

The Wailing Souls started out as a three-piece - Winston 'Pipe' Matthews, George 'Buddy' Haye and Lloyd 'Bread' McDonald - known as the Renegades in 1965. In the late 60s, Matthews and McDonald recorded on Coxsone Dodd's famous Studio One label with singers Oswald Downes and Norman Davis as both The Classics and The Wailing Souls. The Wailing Souls then moved to Bob Marley's Tuff Gong label in the early 1970s and became known as Pipe and The Pipes to avoid confusion with The Wailers.

milo

There are at least eight musicians/bands going under the name of MILO 0. Milo is a brown man rapping. He is 20 years old and is a sophomore in college. He released his debut mixtape, "I wish my brother Rob was here" on November 1st, 2011. On February 19th, 2012 he released "Milo takes Baths", a mixtape featuring Milo rapping over Baths' instrumentals. Milo also wrote this blurb about Milo, apart from the bits he didn't. In 2012, he signed to Hellfyre Club Records.

Spragga Benz

Spragga Benz (born Carlton Grant in Kingston, Jamaica on May 30, 1969), is one of Jamaica's most famous Deejays. He began his career around 1991. Once known to his friends as Spaghetti (tall and slim) but later shortened to Spragga. The Benz in his name comes from the sound system for which he used to work for, L.a. Benz, and it is through this that he found his way into the music business at a Dubplate recording session with Buju Banton. The famed elder DJ was slated to do 4 tracks for L.a. Benz but only voiced two and suggested that Spragga do the other two.
