Aimee Mann

Aimee Mann was born in Richmond, Virginia, and attended the Berklee College of Music in Boston, but dropped out to sing with her first punk rock band, the young snakes; the band released the EP Bark Along with the Young Snakes in 1982, and a compilation album was issued in 2004. In 1983, seeking a return to "sweetness and melody", she co-founded with Berklee classmate and boyfriend Michael Hausman the new wave band 'Til Tuesday, which achieved minor success in 1985 with its first album, Voices Carry.

Formed by Irit Rozenfeld in late 2007, Oblako Lodka play a delicate blend of rudimentary pop; with atmospheric cycles reminiscent of Colleen, and airy seventh chords; a kind of ambient tropicalia.

Oblako Lodka are Irit Rozenfeld, Alex Nosek (ii, hammocks and honey) and Alexis Hall (The Motifs, Milk Teddy). Former members include Jodi Hoffman (véu) on drums, guitar, melodian and vocals, Shaun D'arcy (rival flight) on guitar, and Zoe Jackson (Light Music Club), who played keys for the band's first five shows.

Dntel is also the project that spawned The Postal Service. He started working as Dntel, pronounced Din-tell, in 1994. A collection of tracks created between 1995-1997 (Early Works For Me If It Works For You) was released on the Phthalo label in 1999, followed by the release of an EP recorded in 1994 (Something Always Goes Wrong) in 2000.
