NEKTAR is probably the most German-like of the Seventies British bands, a fame that owes a lot to the town in which this band was founded (Hamburg) and to their stylistic approach (Assimilated to Krautrock). NEKTAR was formed in 1969 by Allan FREEMAN (keyboards & vocals), Roye Albrighton (guitars & vocals), Derek MOORE (bass, Mellotron & vocals) and Ron HOWDEN (drums). Their earliest albums were hard rock that drew heavily from the space-rock and PINK FLOYD styles of the same period.
Combining never ending songs and a loud, relentless sound with low-end heaviness, wild psychedelic trips and doomrockin' riffs, Toner Low are one of a kind to roam the green fields of Leiden, Holland. In the first four years since their formation in 1998 these doomstoners released a couple of promos, played gigs in Holland and Belgium (2000) with among others Karma to Burn (USA), Isis, Candybar Planet and Lawn and parted with two bandmembers.

Sequoia is (1) a band from Chicago. They released their debut album, "Monday Morning" in 2005. Their sophmore album, "Time to Change", was released in May of 2008. In 2009 they added Cully Johnston from Grinner/Powers on guitar and in 2011 released their third full-length, "Couple Two Tree." It was engineered/produced by Allen Epley (Shiner, The Life and Times) and Eric Abert (The Life and Times, Ring Cicada) and recorded at Matt Talbott's (HUM) studio, Earth Analog.
Harvey Frederick Bainbridge (born 24 September 1949, in Dorset) is a British bass and keyboard player. He is best known as the bass player and keyboard player in Hawkwind. He initially joined Hawkwind members Dave Brock and Robert Calvert in 1977 in a band called Sonic Assassins in which he played bass guitar. Sonic Assassins was formed by Brock to exist alongside Hawkwind, but to focus on playing local concerts around the South West of England.
