Mensa

There are at least two acts with this name. i) Mensa project was born on the spring 2006 when I was studying in Sweden. the project started to have a concrete form after a few months working with the software. The plan was to develop a personal perspective about sound experimentation. The project was conceived with the aim to be showed outdoors. All the sounds that I process are thinked to be listened outside, in public spaces or natural environments.

DJ Mayhem

DJ Mayhem (Martin Ikin) has been DJ’ing and Producing music since 1990. He has spent the last fifteen years plus, releasing records on many labels under an array of different names, and now has a list of classics under his belt. As well as DJ’ing, Producing and spending some years employed as in-house engineer at recording studios, Martin also studied jazz piano, has been bandleader of several jazz funk outfits and is still gigging, session playing and teaching piano today.
