Benjamin Levin (born March 8, 1988), better known as Benny Blanco, is an American songwriter and producer from Reston, Virginia. Blanco has written and produced for artists such as Katy Perry, Kesha, Priscilla Renea, and Britney Spears with Dr. Luke. He has also remixed for Kylie Minogue and Justice. Blanco first gained attention in 2007 after working closely with Spank Rock.

During his time as a producer he has gained two No.1 selling singles in the genre with Enta The Dragon and Ride (Reference: BBC Radio One).
The 80's popster turned proto-jungle revolutionary was born Michael West in 1965 in London. He formed Double Trouble in the early '80s with Michael Menson and Leigh Guest, releasing the ska-pop hit "Street Tuff". Rebel MC later gained fame in England as a pop-rapper, but by 1991 he had released Black Meaning Good, an album that presaged jungle with hardcore techno married to dub basslines and ragga toasters such as Barrington Levy and P.P. Arnold.
