Tom Gilmore, aka Ten Thousand Free Men & Their Families, or '10k', is a chipmusic/chipunk artist from Sydney, Australia. Tom also founded a Game Boy/8-bit Music blog with a friend, fellow artist Dot.AY called Game Boy Australia. The offical 10k website can be found at http://10kfreemen.com.
Operating from his current HQ in Brighton since 1991, Ian has produced and developed music, super-8 films, electronic instruments, film and live music programmes, installations and light-show projections for concerts and club nights. Self taught, operating alone and without funding, he has worked with second-hand and self-built equipment to produce over 40 short films since the early 1990s; many of these have been screened at international film festivals, and are distributed by LUX, in London.
