Bobby Few

Bobby Few (born October 21, 1935) is an American jazz pianist.
Few was raised in Shaker Heights, a neighborhood of Cleveland, Ohio, and studied classical piano. He knew Albert Ayler as a youth, and the pair studied jazz and played together in high school. Few played on several of Ayler's recordings, as well as with Alan Silva, Archie Shepp, Sunny Murray, Steve Lacy, Noah Howard, Booker Ervin, Brook Benton, and Kali Fasteau.

Formed by three musicians from the new improvised music Lisbon scene, RED trio features Rodrigo Pinheiro at the piano, Hernâni Faustino at the doublebass and Gabriel Ferrandini at the drums. The trio was formed in 2007 as a response to a challenge posed by Hernâni Faustino. RED Trio explores one of the most prolific jazz formations: piano/doublebass/drums. The trio's music is characterized for being fast, energic, highly focused, dynamic and sometimes nervous and violent. Most of RED trio influences are based on jazz and especially on improvised music.

John Leyton is an English actor and singer. As a singer he is best known for his hit song "Johnny Remember Me", (written by Geoff Goddard and produced by the legendary Joe Meek) which reached Number 1 in the UK chart in August 1961. John Dudley Leyton was born on 17 February 1939 in Frinton-on-Sea, Essex. After completing his National Service, he studied drama, paying his way through drama school with bit-part roles in films and on television.

Paul Rooney

Artist Paul Rooney was born in Liverpool in 1967, and trained at Edinburgh College of Art. Paul’s practice focused from 1997 to 2000 on the music of the ‘Rooney’ CD’s and performances. Rooney achieved an appearance in John Peel’s Festive Fifty in 1998, and a ‘Peel session’ in 1999. Paul now primarily works with text, sound and video, focusing on the ‘voices’ of semi-fictional individuals, and using or referencing narrative forms such as short stories, songs, audio guides and sermons.
