Decadent Few

There's at least two bands that have performed under the name Decadent Few. 1) Formed in East London in 1984 by Kaya, Mike, Bernie and Mark of Youth in Asia, plus Steph of Hagar the Womb briefly, Decadent Few’s first gig was at Studio One in Slough, June 1984. Mark and Steph had stepped out by this point and a friend, Gary, was taught Bass by Mike in vintage Paul Simenon-style, i.e. coloured stickers on the frets to denote where to play which note which song.

Toxik Ephex

Toxic Ephex come from Aberdeen in the north of Scotland. They got together in 1979 and made the vinyl debut on the Bullshit Detector compilation LP on Crass records in 1982 with the track Police Brutality. They released there first 7", the classic Fallout Shelter on local Aberdeen record label Green Vomit records in 1986. First few copies that appeared had a hand made black and white sleeve glued together by the band themselves as they could not wait for the proper sleeves to arrive! Also on Green...

Chaos UK

Chaos UK are a UK hardcore punk band formed in 1979 near Bristol. Consisting of Simon on vocals, Andy on guitar, Kaos on bass, and Potts on drums (although the band has been through many different line-ups over the years with Kaos as the only consistent member). Their lyrics deal with topics such as unemployment, economic recession, drinking, infanticide, distrust of government, the police, and authority in general.
