We Are the Fallen

We Are the Fallen is an American Alternative Rock band that was formed in 2009. It consists of former American Idol contestant Carly Smithson on vocals, Marty O'Brien on bass, former Evanescence members Ben Moody and John LeCompt on guitar, as well as Rocky Gray on drums. Along with the announcement of their formation in mid-2009, We Are the Fallen released their début single "Bury Me Alive" as a free download to the first 100 000 people to register on their official website - www.

Within Temptation

Within Temptation is a band from The Netherlands. Despite being labeled by the media as a gothic metal band, Within Temptation consider themselves "more a symphonic rock/metal band ... we are in my opinion no Gothic band". The band consists of vocalist Sharon den Adel, guitarist Robert Westerholt, Jeroen Van Veen (bass), Martijn Spierenburg (keyboards) and Ruud Adrianus Jolie (guitars). Within Temptation was formed in 1996 by Robert and Sharon, after Robert left his previous band The Circle, who then renamed themselves Voyage.

Gothminister

GOTHMINISTER was formed by Bjørn Alexander Brem in Norway, in 1999. In 2000 joined the keyboarder Halfface, followed by the guitarist Machine and Dementia aka the photographer Sandra Jensen (who developed the art direction of the band). GOTHMINISTER released the debut album “Gothic Electronic Anthems” in 2003 and got fantastic critics in both German and international press, and Metal Hammer UK headlines read “the undead are reborn”. GOTHMINISTER have had several successful club singles, and on top the hit “Angel” which entered the top 10 Deutsche Alternative Charts.

After a rough start and a l series of line-up changes, the band settled on their line-up in late 2004 when vocalist Tor Arne Fassotte of Unpure and This Negative Karma joined the band.

Dead or Alive

Dead or Alive is an influential new wave band from Liverpool that rose to popularity during the 1980s and gained a cult following in Japan during that time. They are best known for the hit singles "You Spin Me Round (Like A Record)" and "Brand New Lover". Before Pete Burns founded Dead Or Alive, he was involved with a Liverpool based band named Nightmares In Wax (no relation to Nightmares on Wax). The band centred around alternative music and released their only notable record, Black Leather in 1979 or 1980.

There have been two acts using this name, 1/ A short-lived girl band circa 2000 went under this name, appears to be no information online. 2/ A techo band.
2001 they started a music project called "dm2". Well in that early years nothing exciting has happened, except they revoloutionized in case of creating sounds and arranging songs. 2003 dm2 formerly was a 3-man equipped band, but that changed soon back to 1 person: Chris. From the mid of 2005 Hami joined officially the band, and is now maintained the lead-singer, while Chris produces and creates the songs, sounds and arrangements.

Blaqk Audio

Blaqk Audio is an electronic project from Oakland, United States, created by and consisting of Davey Havok as lyricist and vocalist and Jade Puget writing music and programming synthesizers. Both Jade and Davey are members of the band AFI. Blaqk Audio were signed to Interscope Records, their debut album, CexCells, was released on August 14, 2007. The first single from the album is 'Stiff Kittens', revealed by Jade on the BA myspace blog.

Lone taxidermist

The Lone Taxidermist plays with the macabre and gothic to create a disturbed beauty that exists in the darkest spaces of our minds. This one woman band comprises of saws, organs, bells, broken strings, old blues howling and an exquisite voice. The sound teeters on the edge of something beautiful and terrifying, that void were pleasure and pain mingle, tantalizing the ears. Natalie cut her teeth as the lead singer/songwriter of the very popular Manchester band The Bottomfeeders. But The Bottomfeeders are now dead.

Golden Apes

The GOLDEN APES were founded in 1998 by Peer Lebrecht, Christian Lebrecht and Eric Bahrs.
After live-appearances together with Scream Silence and Whispers in the Shadow the Band released their dark wave/postpunk-like debut-album "Stigma 3.am" in 2000, which found regardful attention by the audience and the press.
In 2001 Drummer Nestor de Valley joined the Band and the result of the more stronger and the more intensive sound was the very dark and nihilistic album "Thalassemia". It followed concerts with Clan of Xymox, The Crüxshadows and Ikon.
