The Black Sea was formed from the ashes of Frodus in 2002 when Frodus's Shelby Cinca and Jason Hamacher decided to continue playing together. At the time they recruited Fugazi bassist Joe Lally to play bass. At the time they weren't sure on if the musical endeavor would go beyond just playing music. In February 2002, Hamacher left for a 3 month excursion to Eastern Europe and Turkey after recording drum tracks for the pair.
Arnold George Dorsey (born 2 May 1936 in Madras, India) is a pop singer of the 1950s-present. Of Anglo Indian ethnicity, he was raised in Leicester, England and adopted the stage name Engelbert Humperdinck, after the German composer best known for his opera, Hänsel und Gretel (1893). The son of a British engineer and the youngest boy in a family of ten children, he moved to England at the age of 10. Growing up, he wanted to be a bandleader.
Parliament was originally The Parliaments, a doo-wop group based out of George Clinton's Plainfield, New Jersey barber shop. The name was soon abandoned due to legal issues with Revilot and Atlantic Records, and most of the same people recorded under the name Funkadelic, which consisted of The Parliaments' backing musicians. Billy "Bass" Nelson is credited with creating the name Funkadelic. He also switched from 6-string guitar to bass, creating room for his childhood friend Eddie Hazel to join the group.

Men Without Hats is a Canadian alternative / Synthpop group from Montreal, Quebec, Canada formed in 1977 who were popular in the 80s. They were characterized by the deep, expressive vocals of their lead singer Ivan and their elaborate use of synthesizers and electronic processing. Men Without Hats were always, at the core, Ivan Doroschuk (also released solo as Ivan) and his brother Stefan Doroschuk, with various other members, including a third brother, Colin Doroschuk, as well as Jeremy Arrobas, tracy howe, Roman Martyn and Allan McCarthy.

He began his career fronting Shakin' Stevens and the Sunsets, managed by Paul Barrett. The Sunsets were a 1950s influenced rock'n'roll outfit from Penarth, South Glamorgan.

There are several artists named The Outsiders (11 are mentioned here): (1) The Outsiders were a sixties beat band from Amsterdam, The Netherlands. Formed in 1960 as a neighbourhood band from Amsterdam East, The Outsiders became one of the most succesful Dutch groups of the 1960s. They made some lastingly great records and never recorded anyone else's material, with singer Wally Tax writing the lyrics and guitarist Ron Splinter the music for nearly all of the twelve 45s and three LPs they made.
