The Cherry Poppin' Daddies are an American band formed in Eugene, Oregon, in 1989. Since 1990, they have released seven albums, with an eighth due out in mid-2012. The Daddies' music is primarily a mix of swing, ska and rock, characterized by a prominent horn section and sardonic, often morbid, lyricism. This is more than one artist with this name. 1. Christopher Alan (Chris) Young (born June 12, 1985 in Murfreesboro, Tennessee) is an American country music artist. In 2006, he was declared the winner of the television program Nashville Star, a singing competition which airs on the USA Networks. After winning, he was signed to RCA Records Nashville, releasing his self-titled debut album that year.

ROBIN BECK first came to prominence singing the Coca-Cola theme tune 'The First Time', scoring a major international hit in the process. Although this was to be the general public's inauguration into the lady's work, Beck had in fact been plugging away on the music scene for quite some time, having issued her debut album, the heavily Disco orientated 'Sweet Talk', in 1979. This soon forgotten opus, featuring backing vocals from no less a figure than Luther Vandross, included a cover version of TODD RUNDGREN's 'Hello It's Me'.
