Northlane is a metalcore band from Sydney, Australia. Having emerged in 2009, they maintain all the angst and aggression of conventional hardcore, however have crafted a fresh and innovative approach to modern metalcore into their style. In the aftermath of English Dogs, Graham "Gizz" Butt and some others formed War Dance, who released the "None But The Brave" and "Short Sharp Shock" casettes and then vanished. They played intricate punk music heavily influenced by metal (as with anything Gizz played guitar on) and post-punk.
At least three bands have gone by the Black Tongue moniker: 1. A down-tempo hardcore/beatdown/groove band from Hull, England. Founded in January 2013, the band features members of Infant Annihilator and Mister Sister Fister. 2. An American act is also named Black tongue 3. Black tongue is a rock band from Copenhagen, Denmark. The line-up consists of: Cristian Olesen (guitars, vocals), Rune Nielsen (bass guitar), Snakebite (drums), and Jonas Skovsbøl (guitars). The band recorded their first self named EP in May 2009. The EP contained 4 tracks and the band is currently unsigned.

Key members were Alain Mion (Piano) and Alain Gandolfi (drums, percussion). Cortex recorded several albums and singles for the Sonodisc label. 2 albums got re-issued: 'Troupeau Bleu' (on 'Dare-Dare') and 'Volume 2' (on 'Follow Me'). 2. A Swedish punk or post-punk band from Gothenburg.
Threat Level first began its journey in 2005 in Kokomo, Indiana. Members include Frank Rapacki (vocals), Troy Welch (guitar)), Jason Weaver (bass), Chad Smith (drums). They have been steadily working their way up the charts and the fans are loving it! Threat Level’s first release in 2006 was a 5 song demo that they recorded on their own. In March 2008, a 10 song debut CD was released with the title “A World Beyond Devastation“. The songs were released on Internet radio, compilation CD’s, podcast’s and trade magazines.
