Dead And Divine

DEAD AND DIVINE, a five piece metalcore ensemble out of Southern Ontario, Canada has been making an uproar across their homeland since their 2005 debut release "What Really Happened At Lover's Lane" on Verona Records;(a label created by Shane Told of Silverstein fame, and the band themselves) One would think a light would be dimmed on their experience and caliber, but rest assured these "boys" are far from inexperienced.

The Day I Snapped formed in late 2000. The current line-up is: Alan Easton (lead vox/guitar), Richie Bradford (lead guitar), Craig Brennan (drums/b-vox) and Andy McFarlane (bass/). Jamie's Elsewhere

Jamie's Elsewhere is from Sacramento, California, and was formed after the demise of Mozart Season in 2005 and are currently signed to Victory Records. Their sound is mellower than Mozart Season was, but still incorporate keyboard/piano elements. Some have compared Jamie's Elsewhere with bands such as Chiodos because of the ambient rock sound combined with raw screams and vocal variation. However, on their latest album, They Said a Storm Was Coming, their sound has been compared to the flourishing sound which hosts bands like Of Mice & Men and Asking Alexandria.

Oh, Sleeper

Oh, Sleeper is a band from Fort Worth, Texas signed to Solid State Records. Oh, Sleeper formed in April of 2006 after former members of short-lived rock band Terminal got together with former Between the Buried and Me guitarist Shane Blay. Eventually they found a vocalist in Micah Kinard and began practicing. As the 4 members began sledging through all the normal problems of a band start-up (no place to practice, no money and different schedules) the biggest obstacle was finding the last and final member.

boysetsfire

Post-Hardcore band from Newark, Delaware, United States The hardcore, then later post-hardcore, band boysetsfire was founded 1994 in Delaware/USA. One of the main reasons was 'To shake things and change', which basically meant to mosh like lunatics through the rehearsal room. But soon the wish for a change manifests in more and more politically inspired lyrics. Only about a month after their first rehearsal, they played their first gig for friends. This opened the doors for some local club gigs in Newark, and the first demo was recorded shortly after.
