The James Cleaver Quintet

The James Cleaver Quintet met at a Chris Eubank convention in Hull. It was a love of good quality profiteroles and fresh water fish (particularly Sturgeons) that brought them together. They started off as an N-Dubz cover band, playing all the hits from "Papa Can You Hear Me?" to "Better Not Waste My Time" and back again, but cranking things up a notch by throwing a Bulgarian folk twist into the mix.

Nekrogoblikon

What happens when you put a bunch of bloodthirsty, music-loving goblins together? Well, a lot of disembowelment, but also a lot of catchy tunes. Formed six millennia ago, and practicing only every other leap year on a full moon, the band has perfected their brand of crushing . On a cold, dreary winter night in July of 2006, Nicholas Von Doom and Tim were in the woods engaging in general tomfoolery when they stumbled upon a mysterious cardboard box with their names crudely inscribed with a Sharpie® Permanent Marker.

Donnybrook

Hailing from Los Angeles, CA, Donnybrook brings an old-school, in-your-face style that has drawn comparisons to Madball, Death Threat, and District 9. The group was formed in early 2003 by six friends who were fed up with the insincerity plaguing the scene they grew up loving and believing in. With their debut four-song EP now out on 1917 Records, coupled with their plans to tour both the East and West coasts (and soon after, the world!), and you'll see why Donnybrook is poised to thrust themselves into the mix with hardcore's heaviest hitters.

Scarlet Grey

Background Ben likes manatees. So much so that he adopted one named Merlin. They have never met. Only letters, but Merlin truly believes that letter writing is a 'lost art.' But Ben brought his love for the sea cow to college where he met a scruffy young introvert named Danny Duran. They hated each other. That is until they connected through the sacred bonds of rock. Then dave joined. He's a republican.

Dolly Rockers

HERE COME THE DOLLY’S… The best pop music happens during the worst of times. The upside to a depressing recession, global conflict and five year-olds mugging you for your mobile, is the return of music that’s bright (in both senses of the word), brash, slightly deranged but irresistibly catchy. We believe the big papers are calling it ‘wonky pop’. The Dolly Rockers themselves would probably call what they do ‘drunk disco’, but we’re not sure that’ll catch on.

Brother Firetribe

Brother Firetribe is an Album Oriented Rock (AOR) band formed in 2002 in Finland. They describe their music as easy going rock. The band was originally called False Metal, but they changed their name to Brother Firetribe; however, the album is called ‘False Metal’. They take their name from an in-joke as a perfect description for their music is ‘tennis heavy’ and the name of a well known Finnish tennis player Veli Paloheimo translates into English as ‘Brother Firetribe’. The album title ‘False Metal’ comes from a slogan coined by heavy metal group Manowar, ‘Death to False Metal’.
