The former alias of Dan Snaith, an electronic musician from Dundas, Ontario, Canada. Snaith renamed himself Caribou in 2004 under threat of an American lawsuit by Richard "Handsome Dick" Manitoba, who had used the surname professionally since the 1970s but has not released any music as a solo artist. Manitoba's critically acclaimed album "Up In Flames" has since been re-released under the Caribou name and listed as such in discographies.

There are at least three artists known as The Internet: 1. The Internet is a hip-hop/soul duo and one of many sub-groups within the Los Angeles, California hip-hop collective OFWGKTA. It consists of Odd Future's sound engineer, audio mixer, and live DJ Syd Tha Kyd on vocals and Matt Martian of The Jet Age Of Tomorrow on production. The duo released their debut LP, Purple Naked Ladies, digitally on December 20, 2011.
Urgent Talk are a three piece indie-pop band formed in Sheffield, England in 2007. The lineup consists of Roo (Viola, Violin, Vox & Glox), Warren (Vocals, Synths, Guitar, GameBoy), and Jack (Guitar, Vocals, Keyboards, Sampler). Warren and Jack previously played together in heartyeah. Urgent Talk's first release was Winter Olympiad '88 as a DVD single in early 2008. They followed this up by releasing two released 2 EPs, 'Ampersand' and 'Ampersands', simultaneously in February 2009. All three releases were put out through the band's own Dear You Records label.
