2 Live Crew

2 Live Crew is a controversial rap group, largely due to the sexual themes of one album, As Nasty As They Wanna Be (1989). The 2 Live Crew formed as three men in the Air-Force all became stationed in Riverside California in 1983. Inspired by Planet Rock and Pretty Tony records, they put the group together with the intentions of "sustaining the 808 kick drum". They recorded their first release in 1984 which became a staple of Luke Skywalker and The Ghetto Style DJ's in Miami.

Motown

Motown Records, also known as Tamla-Motown outside of the United States, is a record label originally based out of Detroit, Michigan ("Motor City", hence mo(tor)town), from where it achieved widespread international success. Motown played an important role in the racial integration of popular music as the first record label owned by an African American and primarily featuring African American artists to regularly achieve crossover success and have a widespread, lasting effect on the music industry.

Tag Team

Tag Team was a miami bass duo of DC the Brain Supreme (Cecil Glenn) and Steve Roll'n (Steve Gibson) from Florida, USA, best known for their 1993 hit "Whoomp! (There It Is)". They released two albums, 1993's Whoomp! (There it is), and 1995's Audio Entertainment. In 2000 a Tag Team grestest hits CD was released.
