John ‘Illa J’ Yancey is a hip hop producer/MC from Detroit, Michigan and better known as the younger brother of the late legendary producer J Dilla. In 2006 after the passing of his older brother, Illa J was invited by the live band Guerrilla Funk Mob to perform Dilla’s rhymes at a Detroit tribute show, a concept which was taken on the road soon after for a European tour. A self-released EP was issued in 2007, featuring self-productions, with the exception of one track ("Me and My Brother") produced by Jay Dee.
Detroit-based Jeremy Ellis moved to Puerto Rico to create an album marrying traditional Bomba and Plena rhythms with Detroit-schooled dance music. After three months, the keyboard maestro and golden-toned vocalist discovered that the living in Puerto Rico ain’t so easy. On his way home he lost two computers, all of his recordings, half of his recording advance, and his passport (and possibly part of his mind).

Andre Williams (born Zephire Andre Williams in Bessemer, Alabama, on November 1, 1936) is an American R&B and punk blues musician who started his career in the 1950s at Fortune Records in Detroit. Some sources believe that Williams is the long-lost brother of Screamin' Jay Hawkins, a blues musician whose song "I Put A Spell On You" landed on the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame's 500 Songs that Shaped Rock and Roll charts.
Ondre Moore, known by stage names Swift and Swifty McVay, is an American rapper and member of D12. He was accepted into the group as a replacement for Bugz, at Bugz's request, following his unexpected death in 1999. In 2002, Swift founded Da Fyre Dapartment Production Company.
Aril Brikha (born in 1976 in Tehran, Iran) is a producer currently residing in Stockholm, Sweden, who initially discovered electronic music by listening to the likes of Depeche Mode, Front 242 and Jean Michel Jarre before discovering the more futuristic sounds of artists like Detroit's Robert Hood and Underground Resistance. After not receiving any response in his native country he sent a demo to some of his favourite record labels stateside.
