Marcin Czubala

Marcin Czubala is not your typical techno artist. Part of this might have to do with the fact that he hails from Poland, not Berlin. Part of it is connected to his classical music studies: between 1991 and 1994 he performed in over 300 concerts, including the Nantes Festival, Warsaw Autumn, and even performances with the experimental-music giant Krzysztof Penderecki. Ultimately, though, what sets Marcin apart is his personal style, that most difficult to define of all musical criteria.

Masomenos

Bon Voyage is an acute and refined techno odyssey sprinkled throughout with glimpses of a more old-school style. Deliciously funky, it's a rather psychedelic and surreal universe that is both chic and playful, tinted by imagination and dreams, with a deceptively naive and childlike atmosphere. A more forward-going musical approach with a minimalist, albeit softer, colourful and sunny feel to it than the sounds that have been heard before.
