Coockoo

Coockoo is a young and eccentric, alternative rock band, based in Moscow. Internet success in January 2009 with their provocative single; Groupies’ Anthem (F.U.C.K) brought instant popularity within the Russian underground music scene. During the proceeding year they have built on this success playing regularly at some of the finest music venues in Moscow. The year has continued positively with rotations on national radio and performances being screened on Russian Music TV channels.

Amelia Fletcher (born January 1, 1966) is a British singer, songwriter, guitarist, and economist. She was the frontwoman of an evolving series of pop groups from the 1980s to the early 21st century. Her bands included Talulah Gosh, Heavenly, Marine Research, and Tender Trap. She also sang backing vocals for The Wedding Present early in their career and on the Hefner album We Love the City. The Sorrows

The Sorrows are considered perhaps to be the archetypal "Freakbeat" band. Formed in 1963 in Coventry, England, they released their first album "Take a Heart" in 1965 on the Piccadilly Records label which was a subsidiary of Pye Records. The Sorrows were at the time the hardest, most aggressive and contemporary R&B band of that time, although later this brand of music was eventually termed "Freakbeat".

Maxi Priest

Maxi Priest (born Max Alfred Elliott on June 10, 1961) is a reggae singer from England. Career Of West Indian descent, and the second youngest of nine children, he was born in Lewisham, London. He is known as the 'King of Lovers Rock'. His music is sometimes closer to R&B, and pop, than to reggae music itself. His first major album was the self-titled Maxi Priest (1988) along with his cover of Cat Stevens' Wild World established him as one of the British reggae top singers this internationally acclaimed vocalist, is the only UK reggae act to score an American Billboard Number One.
