Ah well, when Strawberry Story split up, the delightful writing style of Rex and James, coupled with Paul's bass accompaniment was just dying to carry on. There were still songs to be written and people to play for, so a sprightly young Ed was recruited to be the drummer and the drum machine was flogged on eBay. The resultant fusion is "The Honda Express" named after Strawberry Story song Summer Scene. Hope you like it.
There are two bands named this. One from the US and another from the UK. The UK band were started in 1999, releasing vinyl on Motorway, Firestation Towers and Matinee Recordings. A Man Down are a pasty faced, ugly, alcohol ridden pop punk band from near Brighton. Claiming they sound like someone kicked NFG in the throat A Man Down are willing to travel hundreds of miles just to have a chance of playing their music in front of a crowd. They have played all over the UK and have recently finished recording their new CD with the legend that is Pete Miles.
