summerlin

Say hello to SUMMERLIN; a group that's on a mission to put the party back into pop rock. The Leeds based 5 piece set out to carve their own niche with a unique blend of lighthearted power-pop. With their debut E.P, So Make Your Move out in June, the group aims to give the musical masses something to smile about. The Leeds natives Drew Lawson (vocals), Ben Jackson (guitar, vocals), Jake Greenwood (bass), Lee Whitaker (guitar) and Liam Broad (drums) met while their current bands were falling apart and were immediately bonded by their shared love of pop music and party.

His best known song, "French Kiss," featured vocals by Shawn Christopher and spent two weeks at #1 on the dance chart in 1989. The house track (now considered a classic) features a several-minutes-long breakdown in which the music gradually slowed down in tempo to a complete stop and left nothing but orgasmic moaning from Ms.

Tokyo Knife Attack

Tokyo Knife Attack is the work of Glasgow resident Craig Bell who's musical influences cover a broad spectrum, but most notably electro hip-hop, disco and synth pop. Craig started making music as a kid in the 80's by putting cassette recorders inside cardboard boxes and battering them with wooden spoons, a technique he still advocates to this day... although he has developed a few extra skills over the years, we think you'd agree.
