Osunlade

Osunlade is a gifted and respected house / nu-jazz producer and DJ. growing up in a musical environment, Osunlade knew music would rule his life. As a teenager in the 70s, he joined the cast of Sesame Street and later began producing music for the show. an ordained priest of the African religion of Ifa, Osunlade's spirituality can be heard in the tribal percussion and even latin and brazilian rhythm influences of his music.

Born and raised in Brixton, South London he has grown in a poverty driven environment. He is affiliated with the infamous P.D.C who are in the process of building a record label. His solo career began through a record shop called 'Deal Real' which used to be located in Carnaby street. This is where he first performed to a crowd and the response he recieved made him continue on this path. Since then he has supported the likes of KRS-ONE, Immortal Technique and Saigon to name a few.

Music project of Caribou's Dan Snaith. Daphni's debut album, Jiaolong, will be released on 8 October on Merge Records. "During the time I was making the Caribou album Swim, I'd fallen back in love with moments in small, dark clubs when a DJ puts on a piece of music that not only can you not identify, but that until you heard it you could not have conceived of existing," Snaith said. "Daphni tracks are rough and spontaneous … They're about working fast and intuitively, capturing the manic energy needed to start a track one afternoon, have it finished, and be playing it in a club that night."

House Of House is the New York City-based dance music duo of Saheer Umar (Afrika Islam's nephew) and Olivier "Liv" Spencer (Still Going, DFA, Manthraxx). Throughout time, dance music has been celebrated in singular moments of contained chaos. It is night music, absorbed by "the people" in environments tucked away from mainstream society. To "the people", the 12" and not the LP was king. These were records made to move masses with little more than a kick drum, hi-hat and a bass line. Needles would drop, crowds would rejoice.
